We welcome you to the San Carlos Apache Tribe Recreation & Wildlife website, and we look forward to your visit. The San Carlos Apache tribal lands are known world-wide for its hunting, and fishing destination.
San Carlos Apache Recreation & Wildlife Department was
established with the mission: "To preserve, protect, and enhance wildlife populations on the San Carlos Apache Reservation, for the benefit of the Tribe and for the benefit of the ecosystem."
Big Game Hunting Lottery Draw for Elk, Coues Deer and Antelope tags are available each year are staged on the San Carlos Apache Reservation.
This income generates beneficial revenues for the Tribe’s Conservation Fund which is used for wildlife survey, research, and habitat improvement projects. San Carlos Reservation Hunting Permit information.
